Welcome.
Slow down a moment.
Art and science are not opposites.
Follow either one around far enough and you will reach the other.
Both reward curiosity with revelations, and even better, with new questions, in a process that is never complete.

I am a scientific and medical illustrator by training, and currently a fulltime professor in the Illustration program at Sheridan College (Oakville, Canada), as well as a part-time consultant for a company that designs and fabricates museum exhibitry.
This site is primarily a gallery of my recent, personal work. I made it, and the artworks it contains, as a place for meditating and thinking; I hope it works that way for you too. Please browse the pages in the list on the left (at the top if you’re on a mobile –  but if you’re on a mobile, get thee to a bigger screen!) to see a selection of artworks inspired by a love of nature and science and their effects on our mental well-being.
